Preserving the homes in a community is as important as bringing in new. We place an equal focus on rehabilitating existing homes while looking for new applications of existing technology all with an eye to creating affordable homeownership opportunities.

Transforming communities starts from within and it almost never starts with housing. We did a lot of listening and then we went to work helping the local K-8 elementary school bring academic resources to students.

At Navigate, we know that community development is about more than just building homes. That’s why we focus on educational opportunities, economic growth, and revitalizing neighborhoods. Our commitment to holistic renewal is clear in North Titusville, where we’re preserving housing and introducing innovative home-building solutions to strengthen the community.

Community Revitalization

We’ve completed seven new construction homes, bringing new homeowners to the community. We’ve also returned more than two dozen single-family homes to the housing supply addressing the housing needs of working families and our seniors.

Community Engagement

We partner with Washington K-8 has created many opportunities for students, including ACT Prep programs, extracurricular activities like Math and Social Justice Teams, Athletics and Band. Other community partners include the Titusville Library, neighborhood associations, and other nonprofits.

Economic Development & Revitalization

The Marc Steel Property, once a bustling steel foundry in the late 1800s, has become an economic hub for the community. We’ve joined with community partners to program the 6.5 acres in support of local vendors, artists, and community events.
