2026 Income Limits Updated on Navigate’s Website
HUD has released the 2026 Income Limits, and Navigate has updated our income limits resource page for owners, agents, residents, and housing partners.
These limits help determine eligibility for many HUD-assisted housing programs. They are based on area median income and household size. HUD uses income limits to identify whether households qualify as extremely low-income, very low-income, or low-income.
The updated Navigate page includes national information and direct access to our four PBCA states:
2026 Income Limits Are Now Available
HUD’s 2026 Income Limits are effective May 1, 2026. Navigate’s income limits page now links users to HUD’s current income limit resources, methodology documents, Section 8 income limit tables, and state income limit information.
This update is important for property owners and agents who manage HUD-assisted housing. Income limits affect eligibility reviews, certifications, and compliance work across affordable housing programs.
2026 Income Limits for Navigate States
Navigate has organized the information by state to make it easier to find. Users can start on the main income limits page and then select Alabama, Connecticut, Mississippi, or Virginia.
Each state page is designed to help users quickly reach the information they need without searching through multiple HUD documents.
