Navigate Gives Back 2024
For 2024, Navigate Gives Back awarded $4.7 million in charitable grants to nonprofits across Alabama, Connecticut, Mississippi, and Virginia, increasing funding by $1 million compared to last year. With this significant growth, the program continues its mission to support organizations addressing urgent community needs such as housing stability, food insecurity, and utility assistance.

Expanding Support Across Four States
This year, Navigate gave funding that reflects the critical needs of the communities we serve:
- Alabama: $2,850,538
- Connecticut: $500,000
- Mississippi: $700,000
- Virginia: $686,000
This funding will help more than 50 nonprofit organizations implement programs that alleviate financial hardships for vulnerable families. We believe these programs will be of great impact.
Addressing Critical Needs
Navigate’s increased funding for 2024 is a response to the rising cost of living and the barriers low-income families face. As CEO Lisa McCarroll explains:
“We are honored to support organizations that provide essential services to help families overcome barriers to stability and well-being.”
Key Focus Areas:
- Housing Stability: Grants for rental and utility assistance programs, emergency shelters, and home repairs for at-risk individuals and families.
- Food Security: Funding for nutritious meals, fresh produce, and innovative grocery delivery systems for food-insecure communities.
- Utility Support: Programs to help vulnerable households maintain access to essential services like water and electricity.
