
HUD December Operating Fund Payments Update
HUD has confirmed to the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO) that Operating Fund payments for December will be made available to public housing agencies (PHAs). NAHRO reported this information on Friday, October 31, 2025.
This development ensures PHAs can continue operations without disruption. HUD will begin loading these funds into eLOCCS (Electronic Line of Credit Control System) as soon as possible.
The confirmation brings relief to many PHAs that depend on the timely distribution of these funds to maintain housing operations and serve residents effectively.
Additional HUD Funding Updates
In addition to December’s Operating Fund payments, according to NAHRO, HUD expects to post Housing Assistance Payments (HAP), administrative fees, and shortfall funding for November by Tuesday. These payments are crucial for supporting housing assistance programs nationwide.
Agencies are encouraged to monitor eLOCCS for updates and verify fund availability in the coming days.
