It's always been family to me. When I first started, I started in May of 2000. So this year is my 25th anniversary. Everything is just family. They treat you as if you were their sister. But I started in my position as a clerk, AR clerk. And then I moved up to accounts payable clerk and then now

finance accountant and I guess that's where I'll be till I retire. But when I first started I do have story about that. had an unexpected surgery come up and I had no time that would fulfill the whole, I think I had to be out four weeks. I had two weeks vacation and they told me not to worry about it. Well of course I was worried about it because I wasn't going to get paid.

and then they came and told me that you everybody donated time and I know other companies do that too but it was just a shock you know I had just started so that's just one of the things that always sticks in my mind because they really take care of us Julie and Lisa go way above 110 % to try to make everybody happy and the board of course

Well, of course it was year 2000. Well, I guess probably the end of 1999, I guess. You know, we had papers back then. So that's where everybody went to look for jobs. And it was posted in the Classified ads. So I just submitted my resume and Julie called me. And at the time, Eric Strong was our CEO and met both of them and the rest is history. Like even from day one, you know, I had told her that

I had to be off for my kids because I had no family here. We moved from Hackleburg and no family. So I was really concerned about working. So she's like, you know, we'll do whatever needs to be done. said, well, I need to work like six to three so I can leave to go pick up my kids. And she's like, no problem. We'll see you Monday. So I show up and it was just me and Eric in the parking lot. So.

I was just blown away. I'm still blown away. Everything they do really is just above and beyond, like I said.

It is. It is.

I I just think we're here to stay. I hope we are. And I know with Julie and Lisa's and the board's leadership, we will be because we're constantly looking for things to, you know, go out there and help the community with and make ourselves better. So I'm just proud to work there.
