AHMA-Affiliated properties in Alabama, Connecticut, Mississippi, and Virginia can win a gift card in the 2023 “Complete & Compete” contest.

The National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) awards deserving students scholarships each year.

In 2022, NAHMA awarded 96 scholarships worth $3500 each. However, very few residents in those states have applied in the past few years.

Many residents start the application process online but never finish. Students must complete the application to compete!

As an incentive to get more completed applications in Alabama, Connecticut, Mississippi, and Virginia, Navigate is sponsoring a contest for properties in our portfolio. All you have to do is encourage your residents to complete the application. Each completed application counts towards your community total. Incomplete applications do not count.

The top two application-getters in each state can win.

  • First Place: $100
  • Second Place: $75

Which residents can apply?

The qualifications for the scholarship are as follows.

  • Any resident of AHMA/NAHMA-affiliated apartment communities in good standing may apply.
  • Any age! You must be a high school senior (2.5 GPA), a GED holder, or a student enrolled in an accredited college, or trade/technical school.

The deadline for completed applications is May 12, 2023, at 10 PM EST.
