1.) I received a verification from Social Security for a Social Security Number. Can I use this at move in?

Yes, but note in the file why the verification letter was needed.

2.) I have a resident who has started preaching, and the church is paying him. However, he only gets paid if the church receives tithes. What do I do?

You could ask for a 1099 form at the end of the year, or you could ask for a self certification which HUD 4350.3 notes is acceptable.
