Tuesday Tip: New REAC Process for Inspections during Pandemic

Posted On: October 6, 2020

Vickie discusses the new REAC Process for Inspections scheduled during the Pandemic.

On September 29, 2020, HUD released Inspector Notice 2020-01 – The new guidance became effective yesterday, Monday, October 5, 2020. The new REAC Process for Inspections is to assist with the return to operations and to prioritize safe practical means to resume inspection activities.

In a previous tip, we discussed the Heat Map Risk Status and the 4 public health Risk Status. These items will determine if the property is located in an area considered by REAC to be “SAFE” to conduct inspections.

Have a question or idea that you think would be a good topic to discuss on Tuesday Tip?
