Tuesday Tip: HOTMA Tidbit on Changes for Residents

In this week’s #TuesdayTip, the HOTMA changes will impact residents on property and those on waitlists for your property.

According to Vickie, now is the time to start contacting residents and taking a close look at waiting lists. Vickie also points out that HUD has not issued a finalized document of multifamily rules, policies, and procedures.

She also encourages owners and agents with updated software to begin processing January 2024 annual recertifications. Under HOTMA, software must be update to TRACS203A
