Tuesday Tip: Eviction Moratorium Ending

Posted On: July 21, 2020

Vickie discusses the CARES Act Eviction Moratorium ending on July 25th in this week’s Tuesday Tip! It’s important to understand that after July 25th, owners can evict only after giving the resident(s) a 30-day notice.

Also, when considering whether or not to evict, it is commendable what a lot of owners are doing by working out rental payment agreements with residents who got behind on their rent. And this isn’t a bad thing. Choosing this option instead of just evicting your residents will keep your properties from carrying so many vacancies!
