Navigate Affordable Housing Partners has just released our annual report for 2022, titled “People First: Innovating to Empower Our Communities.” The report underscores our firm pledge to prioritize people at every level, from our Team Members and Partners to the individuals and families we serve.
With focused growth and strategic efforts to scale up housing construction and revitalization, we’re proud of the significant progress we’ve made over the past year. As a result of our commitment to people first, three families are on their way to homeownership with the modern modular, energy-efficient Live on First homes. We also restored and preserved 12 beautiful rental homes at 5th Court South and made significant strides in bringing truly community-centered projects to the historic Marc Steel.
In addition to our development work, we expanded our work as a Performance-Based Contract Administrator (PBCA) for HUD. The Navigate Team processed a record-setting number of vouchers and provided resources to manage the pandemic, keeping affordable housing standards in check. Navigate also assisted with distributing COVID-19 Supplemental payments to aid property managers and agents addressing the pandemic challenges.
In 2022, our #NavigateGivesBack grant program hit a new record, awarding grants to our mission-driven partners in four states (Alabama, Connecticut, Mississippi, and Virginia). We’re also proud of the students at Washington K8 who achieved so much in the last year.
“We’re so grateful to all our partners, employees, and residents who put their trust in Navigate,” said Lisa, Navigate’s CEO. “Our commitment to prioritizing people in all we do has driven our success in 2022, and we’re pumped to maintain our momentum in achieving our goal of providing improving living conditions for all.”
