Tom Gerundo
Tom has been Contract Administration Coordinator for Navigate Affordable Housing Partners in Connecticut, since June 2004. He works closely with property owners, management agents and residents to help monitor and maintain compliance with HUD guidelines. Navigate’s PBCA portfolio in Connecticut includes over 220 properties with Project-Based Section 8 housing assistance payment contracts, serving more than 16,000 residents.
Prior to joining Navigate, Tom worked for over 10 years in a variety of roles within the affordable housing industry, including as Housing Services Manager for a non-profit behavioral health agency in central Connecticut.
Tom has been a member of the NEAHMA Board of Directors since December 2005. He’s also served on the Board of Directors for the New England Resident Service Coordinators, Inc. (NERSC) from 2006 through 2016, including as Treasurer for three years.
He has also volunteered as a Braille transcriber with the State of Connecticut’s Bureau of Rehabilitation Services since 2011, transcribing more than 50 books for visually impaired children throughout Connecticut.
Tom holds a Master of Public Health degree from Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Trinity College in Hartford.
