HUD allocates new funding for Foster Youth Housing Program

The Foster Youth Independence Initiative works to provide affordable housing for young people who have had a child-welfare history or are at-risk of experiencing homelessness.

2nd Wave of Relief from HUD

On May 1st, HUD Secretary Carson announced the allocation of $685 million of funds to help low-income Americans residing in public housing. The funds have been specified to be potentially used for personal protective equipment, childcare costs, travel costs to receive testing, and other actions.

HUD Provides Relief: Suspends all Foreclosures and Evictions for 60 days

HUD put out a release announcing that it is suspending all foreclosures and evictions for the next 60 days in an effort to limit the spread of COVID-19.

HUD Release: Funding Awarded to Build 1100 Homes for Seniors across the Nation

Last week, HUD Secretary Carson granted more than $51 million of housing assistance to organizations across the country to fund more affordable housing construction, rental assistance, and supportive services delivery for very low-income seniors.
