FHA proposes Streamlined Single Family Servicing Policies

The Federal Housing Administration announced on Tuesday that it is proposing revisions to Single Family servicing policies. These revisions should speed up homeowner assistance and reduce the cost of servicing.

Foreclosure and Eviction Moratorium Extended for Single Family Homeowners

In a HUD press release on Wednesday, June 17th, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) announced that it is extending its foreclosure and eviction moratorium through August 31st for homeowners with FHA-insured Single Family mortgages. This two-month extension comes at a much needed time where homeowners are struggling to have peace of mind and financial security as they recover financially from the COVID-19 economic turmoil.

HUD allocates 4th Wave of CARES Act Funding: $77 Million

On Monday, Secretary Carson announced that the 4th wave of CARES Act funding would be supporting up to 8300 housing choice vouchers to public housing authorities. These funds will be provided through HUD's Section 811 Mainstream Housing Choice Voucher Program, which will provide affordable housing to non-elderly people living with disabilities.
