On September 29, 2020, HUD released Inspector Notice 2020-01 – The new guidance became effective yesterday, Monday, October 5, 2020. The new REAC Process for Inspections is to assist with the return to operations and to prioritize safe practical means to resume inspection activities.

On Monday, September 21st, HUD announced it's giving additional funding to 15 Fair Housing Assistance Program (FHAP) agencies. The total amount awarded is over $500,000 to Fair Housing agencies. The agencies span across 12 states. This funding is to support activities related to COVID-19.
