Navigate Gives Back 2022

Navigate Gives Back (NGB) has opened applications for 2022.

This program will pay up to $100,000 per non-profit organization to provide critical needs such as food, shelter, utilities, and medicine.

Each entity must be a 501(c)3 organization in Alabama, Connecticut, Mississippi, or Virginia and currently provide the requested services/products for at least the past year.

The application deadline is Friday, September 30, 2022, at 4 PM CST.

Can a nonprofit submit more than one application?

Yes, a nonprofit can submit more than one application, but the total amount of all applications cannot exceed $100,000.

How will funds be distributed?

Navigate will distribute funding by ACH only in phases. Please refer to the graphic below.

Are homeless shelters eligible to apply?

Homeless shelters would be eligible if they are a 501(c)3 organization.

Can our organization use the funding to pay staff?

Yes, you can use the funding for salaries and benefits, but only for time directly related to providing critical needs.

You can also pay staff as part of the 15% overhead costs without receipts.

What backup do you need to pay salaries/benefits?

We would need copies of time sheets and payroll registers as a backup.

What if my organization is too small to get an audit?

Navigate is looking for oversight of the financial statements. For example, it could be someone who reviews your monthly financial statements or a firm that produces them.
